it's absurd to add stress to the lives of people who are already ill

Elderly parents, JR parking is terrible. Needs huge improvement all round & transport services. Cut middle management in the nhs. Also, stop providing nhs to people who havent paid into the system.

The stress of parking when you are ill or helping a companion who is ill is horrible and creates unnecessary suffering.

Available parking is essential to help reduce an already stressful process.

Live out in a village in west Oxfordshire with no viable public transport so have to drive in for hospital appointments

There is inadequate parking provision. It is unreasonable to expect ill people and staff working unsociable shifts to use public transport, particularly as most NHS workers are female.

Parking, or lack of it, adds a huge amount of stress to an already stressful situation.

Because the present situation with parking is so unnecessary and stressful for people who are already struggling with their own problems.

We husband is a blue badge holder and we struggle to find parking every time, even arriving an hour before an appointment to attempt to park.

I’ve had many hospital appointments. Trying to find almost non existent parking places is extremely stressful. Some of us are not able to travel by bus! I leave to give myself at least another hour to try to park. Even then it’s still stressful going round and round just hoping someone will leave and you can get in. There’s usually at least 4 people ahead of you doing the exact same thing. When you’re stressed going to cancer appointments etc it makes it even worse not knowing if you’ll make it.

Parking needs improving. Everyone should be allowed to park. A multi story should be built.

I took my friend a few months ago. In the end I had to take her to the main entrance where she was able to get a porter to take her to her appointment. Blue badge space is not enough

I have missed appointments because I couldn’t find anywhere to park and was bringing my disabled father who could not travel by bus. I have been left alone in the main entrance whilst severely injured because my husband had to park the car. My mother who had Alzheimer’s and could not travel by bus (she became very frightened) missed important cancer appointments because we got stuck in a queue for the Carpark. The blind dogmatism insisting on bus transport is inhumane.
