My husband is a regular visitor to the JR and I have to accompany him, it’s impossible to get a car space extremely stressful for both of us.

On several occasions have not been able to park even when going over an hour early for appointments

Parking at the JR and Churchill is almost impossible. The fees are extortionate, the car parks managed by an incredibly aggressive management company, and for people who are ill and require repeat visits this adds to their misery. This needs to change.

I have to have regular check ups at JR. Parking is a nightmare it's been like this for years surely a simple solution like multi-storey car park would solve this problem. It's bad enough needing treatment but the stress of getting to your appointment is so frustrating.

Parking is not only difficult but a complete rip off. £15 if you exceed 6 hours , it’s bad enough having to go to hospital without this insane insult when you finally get out

We live in an outlying village and use Oxford Hospitals car parks on a regular basis for a variety of health issue issues, and always have trouble parking. How much more frustrating it must be for hospital staff!!!!!\

It is simply too stressful anxiously trying to park at either hospital. Taxis are very expensive, and so the hour long bus journey and a long, tiring walk at either end (particularly at the Churchill) are necessary. When you are already ill, stressed and exhausted this is very hard.

As a disabled driver Who can only walk short distances it is often impossible to park and I cannot use buses as live in rural area with very limited access

For the sake of those who need a car journey to hospital.

Myself and my wife use the hospitals in Oxford many times throughout the year and we both say that the parking is very substandard and very annoying when paying to leave which also can be extremely frustrating especially when the machines decide to stop working properly so this can result in you leaving without paying albeit that you have spent very precious time trying to pay.

Parking was a real problem when taking my 90+ year old Mother for hospital appointments. More parking is essential

My wife and I both have long term health problems that require visits to both hospitals and our main concern every time is the lack of parking!

Because it’s obvious to anyone visiting the hospital that parking is a major problem which is getting worse by the day. Surely an easy answer to provide a two-tier parking structure similar to what was done at Bicester railway station. This would double up capacity immediately- as the saying goes ‘simple’.

Need more spaces at the hospitals last thing you want to worry about when your visiting your family and friend who are not well is can you park.

Hospital visits can be stressful. Difficulty parking is an additional stress that can be avoided if sufficient parking were to be available

Why should NHS staff on long days or nights have to park and ride just to make their shift even longer? Why should patients have to park and ride when going to the hospital is rarely a fun outing? Of course multi storey car parks with their small foot prints must be the answer.

it's absurd to add stress to the lives of people who are already ill
