I worked at JR for over 10 years and it has always been a nitemare for staff and patients
the stress of getting there and finding a space, let alone the stress of having a a scary appointment is too much

The ability to park easily at the hospital is vital, particularly if yoi are travelling in from the countryside.

John Radcliffe being the main hospital for a lot of areas.
Need more parking at the john Radcliffe, for the size of it , there is no where near enough Parking.
Have to wait ages for a space, people with appointments as well as visiting, and staff.
Something has to be done.

People are already in distress when going to the JR and the last thing they need is finding it impossible to park and then paying a fortune if they've had to be in the hospital for several hours. We need a multy story car park that is for NONE electric cars because of the fire hazard, they should have designated areas in the present outside parking. The same thing needs to be repeated at the Churchill and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospitals

Always have to get someone to take me as can’t guarantee I’ll get parked before my appointment.
Have had to cancel visiting people in wards as haven’t been able to park.

We need better parking at all hospitals. There’s nothing worse than riding around trying to find a parking space.

I struggled to park, even with a blue badge (for my late Father) at both the JR and Churchill. Added stress to an already stressful situation.

Access to parking is fundamental to a person’s ability to attend an appointment on time and to access A&E.

Have to drop husband and then go elsewhere while he is seen. Not ideal when he has a hearing problem

My family and I have experienced the stress of parking at the JR during frightening and vulnerable times. Public transport and park and ride cannot work for everyone, especially frail, elderly or seriously ill patients and families facing emergencies. Concerns about congestion, the environment or the appearance of a multi-storey must be balanced against patients’ needs. Better parking is essential for safe, practical access to healthcare. Patients must come first.

It is important as I travel in from Birmingham to the JR for work and it is significantly challenging finding parking spaces at the site, which is due in part to the very limited parking available overall on the JR and Churchill sites. This has an impact on my productivity and attendance at work and therefore the potential for this to be the same with other staff which could then influence and impact patience care delivery. The provision of a multi-storey car park for patients and staff

The hospital has become increasingly difficult to access and neither the trust nor OCC seem to accept that access from the rural parts of Oxfordshire is simply to hop on a bus. There needs to be a large multi-storey car park built there.

In an already sad and highly stressful situation, with my Dad terminally ill, it just added to the stress. I very rarely found a parking space, I had to drive around the carpark for over an hour to find a space.
