As a parent, I would love to see lights added to the Dellwood baseball fields. Program continues to grow, and having lights would give kids more opportunities to practice and play while making better use of the fields

My grandkids have loved playing at Dellwood! It’s a fairly long ride for me to go to their games, but seeing their joy and enthusiasm, along with the friendly community atmosphere made it well worth the trip. The players and their families deserve to have their efforts and commitments supported.

We need lights at the back fields. It has long been said that the homeowners say their too bright? The lights go out as soon as the games are over, usually no later than 10 pm. Other fiekds hace them much closer to homes example.. Homer Glen. It's time Lockport thought about the kids

This is important to keep the kids safe, especially during twilight hours, to be competitive with other organizations our kids play against, to show we value well-constructed ball fields and to match the level of play opportunities our kids are seeing at other facilities.

Investing in Dellwood by modernizing our current baseball fields is essential to remain competitive with neighboring towns who continue to expand. Adding lights is long overdue, specifically for player’s safety.

It’s a shame this program can’t offer night games to extend the amount of playing time the growing program needs. Every other significant program has lights for their fields.

The limited lighting at Dellwood truly limits the potential of the Lockport Baseball program and the players and families. This park needs some serious catching up to compete with other neighboring districts, which are able to provide fuller programs for their residents. Lights, bathrooms and ADA compliance really need to be addressed.

We are behind compared to other districts.
It would help with scheduling and the boys now and in the future deserve it.

Upgrades to youth sports fields is necessary. To be able to accommodate the amount of teams and day light I feel the park district owes it to the tax payers to invest in its fields to provide a better playing experience.

As a parent of 2 boys who play baseball this is a great idea. Let the kids play under some lights.
