Illinois State rep Jed Davis first brought to my attention many issues with this agency. We must have impartial investigators and we cannot get that here in Illinois. We must bring in federal investigators.

I’m signing this because there are too many reports of negligence by DCFS. A department that should be protecting children is allowing our most vulnerable to be left in dangerous situations.

The truly do not protect kids whom have physical signs of abuse. They only prefer news worthy cases.

DCFS and its entire operation from top down and inside out needs full investigations and overhaul. The foster families especially need better vetting, the financial incentives for pulling and keeping children, the criteria to remove a child, the medical care requirements, the process to get children back, and especially the totalitarian rule of DCFS in court over anyone else’s words/evidence, and so much more, all of it needs investigated and new accountability.

As a parent and grandparent, I am fed up with Illinois politicians hiding and deflecting honest investigations of child protective services they have mismanaged at terrible cost to the most vulnerable of children.

Illinois is a very corrupt state, collecting taxes from us citizens and doing nothing but spend it on themselves (in payroll) and nothing on infrastructure, roads and streets are garbage, I have blown 4 tires on the I-55 and those tires are $950 each! Parks are looking bad every month, streets are very difficult to drive on, they are reducing lanes for bicycles which by the way you never see on those pathways! So, what is the point? To create chaos so you can come up with your (evil) solution?

The petition itself lays out sound grounds for supporting it. This should be a no-brainer. DCFS must abide by the law.

I am signing because I realized in family court that one parents hearsay outweighs a substantial amount of evidence. When you have a psychologist questioning why the GAL doesn’t recognize the mother’s instability and yet still gives the mother full custody. Something is drastically wrong.

Because It's wrong! Interns are not experts; hence the term Intern. They are obviously not shadowing "Experts" in the field and shown proper protocol. Families are being separated because "Jane out of jr college" thinks she knows any better and probably doesn't even have kids herself.
This is bullshit and the establishment should have to pay these families for pain and suffering.
