An intern/trainee served as the sole investigator on my family’s case. Her investigation resulted in my children being removed from their home for nearly two years, causing them to endure profound and lasting trauma. I firmly believe this outcome could have been avoided had our case been handled by a properly trained Child Protection Specialist.
If Illinois DCFS hopes to regain even a measure of public trust, the people of Illinois deserve assurance that the agency will be held accountable.

This is important because thousands of family across Illinois are losing their kid or children to a system that have stolen tons of kids across the nation we the people want answers and have to bring an end to this madness.

Being the victim of corruption in Illinois, I have come to see that it is entrenched throughout the state at all levels. Oh and since full transparency is optional this should already be happening.

This affects many families and has done injustice to these families and their children. It is an actual disgrace and mockery of a system that is supposed to uphold the law and help those in need. Instead it has been devasting to families and the siblings of these children that have been removed from the home falsely. The system has made false accusations about these families, it has been proven, so then where does the accountability come in for those that falsified records.

DCFS took my 2 grandchildren away from my daughter 2 1/2 years ago as she was recovering from the wounds of being severely beaten and abused by the father of her children. She STILL does not have her kids back.

I'm signing this Petition because Illinois DCFS, McDonough County in particular , wrongfully kidnapped my children and illegally trafficked them to abusers! And did so with no valid justification for ever removing them in the first place! Then I jumped through all of their hoops for 9 long years only to have them sold to the highest bidder!
