Please don’t join with ICE! They are separating families, disrupting local businesses, schools, farms, organizations and churches as well as kidnapping and endangering citizens and fellow human beings. It’s not proven financially lucrative or other municipalities and they, such as Danville, have pulled out of their arrangement with ICE.

This arrangement makes us all less safe.

We must protect the human beings that live, breathe, eat, and work in our area from the unconstitutional assault on human rights which we have witnessed the past few years from ICE.

Based on past behavior and leadership rhetoric, ICE has shown itself to be corrupt, cruel, and not able to be trusted and it doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. Please choose your partners wisely.

Please do not take an active role in something that will only cause families to be ripped apart, communities to be terrorized. No one benefits from this kind of fascism, and make no mistake, that is exactly what this is.

This is important to me because I am scared of too much power in one place. Power can be abused so easily, and corrupt enforcement is terrifying. For the good conscience of the general public please do not join up with Ice.

I don’t want ICE immigration in my town because it can create fear and make people feel unsafe. It might separate families and hurt local businesses, which could damage the community’s trust and unity.

Showing how ICE has acted consistently above the law and has ignored peoples constitutional, there is no reason I can see as why they should continue to operate as an organization, especially in our community. I can't see a single reason as to why bringing them here would be beneficial to anyone in our community.

Do you really have to ask? Maybe just because I don't want to see our citizens murdered in the streets by these lawless cowardly thugs.

ICE is not good for our communities. I will never support ripping apart families and detaining ordinary civilians who are just like us just because they “aren’t documented.” Especially since, half of the time, they’re detaining random people they aren’t even actually looking for (just straight up profiling).

I believe that ICE has overstepped by using excessive force, racial profiling, and has ignored human decency in its daily work. I do not want our local law enforcement officers associated in any way. We need them to continue to be the respected community helpers they are.

Local police should not be part of ICE operations.

ICE agents are basically a group of thugs wearing masks who have no oversight or accountability. I am no in favor of bringing them into our area under any circumstances.
