Essington has seen enough development over the last 4 decades. It now needs to be left alone as one of the true small rural villages in Staffordshire . The infrastructure in the village struggles to cope as it is , the parking outside the local school is a very serious accident waiting to happen .

Doctors,schools already overflowing, too much traffic builds up in High Hill. Already 3 care homes we don’t need anymore! High hill also floods in 2 places and there are bats and wildlife which will be affected

Essington has had 1 major development in the last 5 years. I have noticed an increase in traffic at rush hour school drop off and pick up times. The school is oversubscribed. I don’t believe we have infrastructure to support more homes. Since the Steadings has been built there have been problems with utilities.

We love the green and pleasant Essington, just the way it is. We were promised that land would never be built on. I guess some people have short memories.

I am signing this petition because there is lack of green belt and this particular land has, always been green belt and should be left as such. The proposed care home isn't called for as there has just been a large one opened in the area.
