Opposing the Proposed Development at High Hill, Essington

This is lovely open space with animals which we love to see when visiting the adjoining pools. It would be a great shame to see this go and be replaced with houses. I would think that this would also have a great effect on the wildlife within the pools area.

There are too many houses now in Essington. The Steadings has already put additional pressure on schools, roads and doctors. That is without the disturbance of the wildlife that live at the pools which would be directly affected by this site. Why can't you build on Brown land instead of taking away green areas enjoyed by the village.

We need to protect our green belt land. The road already struggles to cope with traffic and drainage. Any further development would push it to the breaking point in terms of the existing infrastructure. Loads of wildlife uses the field and it’s a staple of the village.

There is not enough structure in place for more housing within Essington, the school, doctors, are already overwhelmed, there roads are already extremely and especially High Hill which this development would cause even more traffic which Essington can not vope with. Essingtons roads are in need of urgent repair, the extra traffic will cause more damage now and will carry on causing more damage on a regular basis. The drains are constantly blocking, do taking away fields will cause the roads.

There no need to build on green belt land, there's are brownfield sites we all know about that could be built on. The affordable housing argument is a red herring, and they won't build a care home, they'll just changed the plans after a done fine had passed and build more houses or flats.

Essington is already over populated, the schools are already full , the roads cant cope with the traffic ,already traffic jambs at sneyd lights every day, why would some numb nut want to build more houses

Essington has been eroded over the years with new estates new build houses, this field along with the dando pools is all that is left, High Hill is unable to sustain any more traffic local amenities are stretched to breaking point the sewers in High Hill are Victorian and are unable to cope with existing houses this would be completely irresponsible,

The development would put a strain on already stretched resources. High Hill floods at entrance to proposed development and it would have negative impact on the well loved pools area.

Essington has doubled in size in the last 5 years, we already have 2 care homes. Enough is enough. The local services and infrastructure are not adequate to accommodate such a development
