Essington is too well built on already. Congestion at school, drainage issues, road issues all of the time (pot holes) through passing traffic. If they yes to this, then Essington will end up not being a village anymore. It will end up with more proposals. Good luck.

I live next to the pools and walk my dog around there 3 times daily, the amount of wildlife is unbelievable and having building so close by would disrupt all of the habitats in the area. Aldi I have to commute to work via high hill and the slightest disruption along that road has massive tailbacks and hold ups in all of the area. The road also floods in various places along the road quite several sometimes, without the field to soak up the rain water I fear the flooding would just get worse.

The infrastructure and the roads in Essington will not be able to cope with more housing, more traffic, more children wanting school places and more patients requiring doctors. High Hill and Upper Sneyd Road are already too busy with traffic and would become dangerous.

Appalled at yet another attempt to erode our treasured village status. This field is part of our community, a huge benefit to our mental health and wellbeing. Somewhere for future generations to explore and appreciate. Having relatives in Berkshire, I've seen absolutely no social housing or massive estates being developed there! Wonder why not? Once again, who is standing up for the people of the Midlands!!

Essington has seen enough development over the last 4 decades. It now needs to be left alone as one of the true small rural villages in Staffordshire . The infrastructure in the village struggles to cope as it is , the parking outside the local school is a very serious accident waiting to happen .
