I believe the construction of the new tennis courts should not be delayed for another two years. Students deserve safe and updated facilities where they can practice, compete, and represent our school. The current courts are already cracked and unsafe, making it difficult for tennis players to have a proper place to play. Waiting another two years could mean that students who are graduating soon won’t even get the chance to experience playing a home game on the new courts.

I've been playing tennis for 3 years now and it means so much to me, home games are for the entire team, we need our courts to be safe enough so we can support each other.

Because all this crap should have been done before even moving us (the kids) to that new high school, the main buildings concrete isn't even set right ( uneven and cracked)
The district got extra bonus money because had us in the school by January of 24' or 25' (i forgot) , that's why nothing's done. The district need to hurry it up take a loan out or something. Idk why they say they have no money, they got like 9mil+ in their account every year🤦🏻♀️

It makes me sad that the seniors won’t get to have a senior night. As senior class president, I believe every student deserves to feel recognized during their last year of high school. When students keep missing out on experiences like these, they start to lose that love and connection with their school. It’s disappointing that they won’t get to play home games or have their families and friends come support them. Every student deserves to feel like their school cares about them.

This is important to me because I believe students should have have at least the bear minimum of safety and the cracks on the tennis court are not good for any games because students can trip and get hurt

As a former dhs varsity player I've seen that over the 4 years the courts have gotten worse and worse every year but the district dose not take action at all of even repairing them while we waited for the new tennis courts at the new campus. Various injuries have happened because of these courts and they basically seem unplayable. New courts are needed asap.

It would be nice for the district to move forward in building new tennis courts for our kids. My son plays tennis and we were told he wouldn’t have any home matches this year. That is disappointing for us as he is a senior.

This issue is important to me for various reasons. As the ASB President and former Class President it has been frustrating navigating the last few years without our athletic facilities. Why did we move to our new campus without any sporting facilities other than the gym that lacks a foyer, restrooms, and a snack bar? This issue is also important to me because I am a Varsity tennis player who has played the sport since 8th grade. I will not have any home games my senior year. Let’s fix this.

As a graduate of DHS I believe students should have access to be able to practice their sports at the high school and not have to constantly go through a struggle just because they want to do an extracurricular activity. I want my younger brothers to be able play sports on that campus like they were promised

We were promised new sports facilities during our transfer to the new DHS, however we did not expect the district to withhold from the construction for so long. As someone who recently joined tennis I believe it is unprofessional that they are not taking to account our sports teams necessities as a whole, it is extremely upsetting to consider that our Dinuba Tennis teams will not be able to play further home games due to the conditions of our current ones.
