They aren’t doing anything to remedy the situation, it’s just not right, and to find out that they did in fact know about this prior, and had time to fix it, but chose not to is the reason I’m signing!

We pay high rent with the expectation of receiving the amenities that were promised, including pool access. The replacement offered is not comparable. Management should take responsibility and provide a fair solution for residents.

We pay premium to live at the building and the pool is a place for someone who comes from out of town to be able to meet Neighbors and enjoy his time in Chicago. This is unfair you’re closing at a time when it’s important to everybody in this building.

We just moved in and purposely chose Northwater for 15 month lease to enjoy two full seasons of the pool. Other buildings were less expensive and with larger units. We feel that someone dropped the ball or decided to save money with repairs and now we have this.

The primary reason we chose North Water over other options was for the pool and amenities. In addition to pool, I inquired with management about the broken fire pit on the 15th floor - I was basically told it was too expensive to be fixed in a timely manner... we pay premium rental prices for a premium experience... very frustrating to hear that something was too expensive to fix...

I’ve lived at NW for almost 10 yrs and pay a sizable amount for rent. The pool is a quality of life amenity during the summer months and I’m paying for it via rent payments.

Most of us choosing to live here is because of the amenities and mainly because of the outdoor pool. This is unacceptable after 9 months closed, to decide to perform maintenance in the middle of summer. Rents include access to all but if no access is given and no actions are taken why should we not be faced with what we deserve.

We need the pool, otherwise why are we paying such high rents for no amenities in the summer when it matters most to Chicago residents.

I have had three back surgeries in five years (lumbar and thoracic spinal disc fusions) and swimming is one of the few forms of exercise I can enjoy without discomfort.
