The funding to protect and care for our citizens in our area should be a top priority. The budget should reflect this need as pricing continues to rise. First responders should receive the additional manpower and funds to perform life saving measures

Because it would be a HUGE disservice to the citizens of Fort Worth to have less first responders.

Our first responders put their life on the line every day to ensure our safety. This should never be a compromise. I also have a son who is a first responder. These amazing humans sacrifice more on a day-to-day person than most people understand.

Fire Fighters and paramedics are essential for Fort Worth! Unbelievable that the powers that be would consider cutting staff or pay for the people that save our lives . No to staff and pay cuts !!

Decreasing first responder staffing puts our community at risk, and anyone who feels this is an appropriate tradeoff for increasing their own salary needs to be removed from public office, since they do not understand what it means to be a public servant, nor do they have the best interest of their communities at heart.

An investment in Fort Worth firefighters is an investment in Fort Worth itself. If we expect the fast responses with best outcomes , we must be willing to support the people who provide it. The city’s future depends on those who answer the call—it’s time for city leadership to do the same
