As a current FWFD wife, we need to keep our firefighters safe in the line of duty. Properly fund our large department and keep FW the thriving and growing city it has been.

Firefighters/EMS are a necessity for citizens AND guests. And adequately staffed 1st responders shouldn’t be optional..Not only does cutting staff/funding puts lives at risk by increasing response times, it compromises FF’s safety as well. As someone with a family member serving the city of FW w/FWFD, risking the safety of my loved one to save a dollar will never be ok. The city should be investing in their 1st responders, not cutting them. Take care of those that take care of you. Do better FW.

If your city can’t afford its first line of defense, you need to rid the ones making poor decisions from the top. It is no different than education and the rest of a municipalities infrastructure. Unreal it is even under consideration.

They literally do 90 % of the essential task throughout the city. If they arnt treated better like every other city around is they will leave and our city will be worse off.
