First responders are under appreciated. Full funding and fully staffed is the way to go.

Putting out fires is very important to me. If you were on fire, wouldn’t you want somebody to put you out?

First Responders are the backbone of our City. Their lack of support from the city council will be detrimental to our citizens

As a Fort Worth resident this is unacceptable, unsafe, and dangerous for the citizens and Fort Worth Professional First Responders!!!!

The people that keep us alive deserve to be funded and given a living wage that accounts for inflation. This should be common sense

The City is negotiating with the union in bad faith. The biggest hurdle are the ones in charge, particularly the city manager. There's something not right about a man who makes well over 400k in salary, gets $600 a month for his vehicle allowance, and is part of an elite socail club refusing better pay and working conditions for the department. Most of us can't even afford to live in the city we're asked to give up so much for.

I’m willing to have my tax dollars go to raising the wage of Fort Worth fire fighters. Their sacrifice is priceless.

Of all things to cut back on, EMS and fire should be the last one to cut. Get your priorities straight, Fort Worth!
