My husband is a fireman at Station 16s, he is the backbone to our family, my high school sweetheart, father of 3, grandfather of 4, a son, and a friend. We pray every shift that he makes it back home safely to us and now you are willing to risk their lives by removing men/women off that truck! If you can’t pay them what they deserve then maybe you need a decrease in your salary! Don’t forget who you call for an emergency! Do what you’re elected to do not what puts more money in your own pocket

I want my tax dollars going toward fire and police. Stop giving it to charities that have not helped the homeless situation one iota!

My brother in law is a Fort Worth fireman. They do not get paid as much as they deserve as it is with all that they have to train for and see in this line of work.

These hero’s risk their lives for all of us everyday. On the worst day of your life possibly you should be able to call for help and not be short staffed. Salaries get cut so then Firefighters, EMTs, police go looking for better jobs to support their families. That’s a reflection ton on the city.

Fire and EMS are the first ones on scene. While never knowing exactly what they’re walking into. Each of them hold a special place. First line of defense is them! Taking away from them means more lives are going to be in jeopardy.

Firefighters and first responders are NOT optional - they are critical to everyone in our society and we need to make sure they have what they need to stay safe while taking care of the rest of us!

It is a shame having to sign this, Fireman risk their lives for our safety, they do not make enough as it is and are stretched for help. Those trying to stop the pay should be ashamed to even think this should happen.
