When a city is growing, making cuts to the fire and EMS is the exact opposite of what should be happening. Ft. worth residents and Ft. Worth Fire deserve better! There are better ways to save money that making this move.

if things need to be cut to buget or deficit start at the top, not the ones that are down in the heat of the problems.

We fought many years for adequate staffing that has a real impact on the community and those who serve the community. Now you want to roll back those hard earned gains. Back to the 80’s in Fort Worth.

As the wife, mother, granddaughter, cousin and friend of many fire fighters and paramedics including many who work for the city of Fort Worth I implore you to consider how the impact of this proposal impacts not only your citizens but your employees AND their families. We want our loved ones to be able to provide care and services to the city of Forth Worth effectively AND to come home to us safely!

It is obvious! First responders do so much and need to be fully staffed and available when anyone request assistance. To be able to be there in a timely manner can literally be life or death.

first responders and the citizens they serve deserve the resources and staffing needed to keep the communities safe. As the spouse of a firefighter, I see the sacrifices made every day. This isn't just about firefighters, it's about ensuring the best possible emergency response for every family when they need it most.
