FW fire department deserves a dignified and competitive salary, benefits and be treated with the same respect and consideration as other fire department from other cities, as their line of job is as risky as their fellow fire men and their lives are as valuable and important too

My uncle served as a FTW firefighter for decades and I do not want FTW to devolve into a slow response city!!!

I come from a family of first responders and it’s important that they have the proper staffing to keep our community safe. They risk their lives to keep us safe everyday. Why would we cut their staffing?

Unbelievable that this city wants to take funds away from the people who are here for us when we need life saving aid and/or rescue from dangerous situations. Taking care of these men and women in the fire department and EMS should be a priority. This concerns all of us!!!

Public safety is the most important service the city provides its citizens. With the growth the city is experiencing cutting personnel off of equipment at this point should be cause for concern for every person who lives or visits Fort Worth.

Fort Worth is where I was born and raised. I still care very much about it. Emergency Services need to be able to keep up with the current growth rate. It’s critical!

As a Senior citizen who realizes the importance of quick to respond EMS and Fire services,it's of utmost importance that there be adequate personnel available at ALL times day and night. Emergencies don't make appointments,or have a set time to happen!

Because we all need emergency services. To cut their funding in this year of absolutely economic insanity is just mean. It will lead to death. And those deaths are 100% caused by YOUR VOTE!! Please vote as a human with a heart and not as an investor with dividends to increase….

As one of the largest and fastest growing American cities we need to keep the MINIMIM 4 person staffing on all front line firefighting apparatus. It is the bare minimum per the NFPA. And in the cases of our downtown fire companies it needs to be 5 firefighters.

Firefighters put their lives on the line for their communities on a daily basis. Don't get me started on their families having to adjust to the demanding work schedule. It's past time we stand unified for what these selfless heros do without batting an eye!
