Public safety should always be the highest priority not only to the citizens, but those who are public safety.

My husband’s a firefighter so that means we’re all a fire family even if it’s for a different city or department. Let’s go do the right thing.

The safety of the firefighters and EMS crews and wellbeing of the community is very important. Cutting staff will increase injuries and death of firefighters and EMS personnel

This cyclical process happens over and over. The city cries broke during contract negotiations, tries to squeeze its employees for everything they can, and neglects reliable facts and figures that stand in opposition of their narrative. Once the negotiations are done, the city goes back to mismanaging its funds, and going over budget on vanity projects and nonessential items. Taxpayers never get the full safe, healthy city they pay for. It needs to end.

* Fort Worth is growing: Emergency staffing should grow with the population, not shrink. * Minutes save lives: Fewer firefighters and ambulances can delay critical help. * Residents support it: Over 90% oppose cuts to Fire and EMS services.

It important to maintain minimum standards, for continuity of care, safety for on the job workers and timely and efficient responses for the citizens of Fort Worth. Fort Wort agreed to take on the responsibility of running an ems system last year, they now need to back up what they agreed to and run in as it should be, no short cuts allowed!

As a current resident and tax payer, as well as a former firefighter it is critical to maintain staffing levels
