The city of Fort Worth ( 10 largest city) in America is pathetically becoming a political communist cesspool of corrupt politicians making ignorant decisions to put in danger, the safety of firefighters and the citizens of Fort Worth, so these greedy corrupt political leaders can fill their pockets with under the table, corrupt money, the are funneling from over inflated unnecessary personal projects ate the expense and life safety of taxpayers and first responders!!! You politicians make me sad

I’m concerned for the safety of our firefighters! I feel there will be more mistakes with being under staffed and feel they will be over worked which leads me back to their safety or the response times for the community and we all know there’s gonna be a grieving family that we want to blame the fire department and the men on duty at that time I feel like this opens the window for bigger mistakes or possibly lose a life of a firefighter because they didn’t have that extra man to help out

Four man staffing is the nationally accepted standard for fire companies. Anything less than that is not meeting the standard. Why would you ever consider reducing fire crew effectiveness by 25% when any reduction will increase task times and place more people at risk. Occupants will wait longer for rescue, efforts to affect a rescue will be more risky to the firefighters with less hands to do the work. In turn, firefighters will do what they always do, get the job done despite the consequences.

I’m a firefighter for Fort Worth, and it’s horrible how they are treating us and the EMS crews. We are short on staffing and underpaid. On average compared to surrounding cities we are paid less and have less benefits. I am over 35 years old and I am aged out and can’t work for another fire department bc I am too old. Please fight for us just as I would fight for your life.

If we’re going to reduce the budget why not remove fire services entirely. It’s not like fires don’t just burnout on their own given enough time.

The fire fighters shouldn't have to risk their lives, to save lives. What if they weren't there to do just that, Save Lives?! They have families that wait for them to come home, unscathed. They have family to take care of, financially, mentally, and physically. So,why allow them to do their jobs and not pay them accordingly? They need their equipment to do their job effectively.

Protect my husband by implementing reasonable staffing protocol, not undermanned trucks. Prevent unnecessary turnover. The city deserves to be staffed and paid competitively. FWFD has been so good to my husband, the city should be in unity with the department.
