I work at this track, almost died to it a few weeks ago. And I believe we should be better communication, track layout, but most importantly criticism, and having classes would be better overall for the drivers and viewer experience.

Safety of drivers, preservation of grassroots cars, and sticking it to track owners who can’t take criticism

motor enclave does it and has no problems, theres a reason they do it. as a spectator i see bumpers ripped off all the time by beginners in tandems

Track and driver safety is important. If you have 30 minutes to an hour for C class drivers, they have time to learn the track and their car without getting iced waiting so long, it also gives a better flow for all classes by not having to wait in such long lines. I’m all for the progression and hope this goes through.

I’m tired of wondering if I’m going to wreck my car in the random tandem line because somebody that has very little seat time is apart of something they shouldn’t be

Because we care about the safety of drivers while the owners clearly only care about putting on a show.

The safety of your drivers and spectators is to be the number one priority. Implementation of a class based system ensures the safety of all drivers. When you have inexperienced drivers attempting to drive with people above their experience level it often times leads to accidents within tandems, trains, etc. We’ve seen it time and time again with multiple accidents. A class based structure allows you to ensure that drivers are ready to take that next step and advance their driving.

Drifting without classes creates a dangerous and unsafe environment that hinders learning and limits seat time for solo drivers.

Having a classed system is the best way to ensure your advanced drivers don’t get walloped by a random who has no business driving in tandem let alone with 5-6+ cars at a time. That’s why this is important.
