These courts get so much use. Upgrading them will lead to happier and healthier lives for the community.

I try to play there everyday. Please resurface the courts. While you are at it, provide more courts for pickleball. There are so many tennis courts that sit empty.

Not only is this site likely the most used open play courts by residents in the state of Hawaii. It is also likely the most visited pickleball courts by visitors from around the world. Let’s not miss this big opportunity to not only serve the local community, but also to affirm to our visitors that our city government is dedicated the thousands of visitors that travel with their paddle and are looking a for an exceptional place to play, right in Waikiki.

There are more pickleball players on the community than tennis players, and we need a place to call home. The two courts at Diamond Head are used all day long with pickleball players compared to the unused tennis courts. Most days there are more than 30 players out there waiting to play with only 4 courts to share. I feel we need more courts here at Diamond Head.
Thank you

There is nothing more important than mental health, getting outside, bonding with our community, finding meaning and purpose, and staying physically active. Pickleball is the universal, ultimate provider of all these benefits for people of every age and background.
Renovating our courts is a smart, high-impact investment in resident well-being. It should be the main focus of any honest public official to facilitate pickleball’s advancement. Please support this petition and prioritize these vital

The Diamond head Pickleball courts are long overdue for resurfacing. It is dangerous to play on, due to the surface being worn down.

These courts provide an aloha like no other when I visit Waikiki. I believe this facility should have the pickleball courts upgraded. The amount of daily users is strongest argument in favour.

Courts need to be re surfaced. They’re in bad condition, very slippery and dangerous.
