More than important to me, it’s important for the community of the fast growing pickleball world. Visitors from around the world come out to play at DH courts and have to suffer the experience on an old Tennis cracked up surface. DH Tennis center is with where Waikiki is located and tourists come out to play pickleball with us locals. It’s the face of Honolulu and should be upgraded to have a much higher level community for those who visit Hawaii as well.

The current surface gets very slippery even with a light drizzle. Resurfacing is needed and permanent nets would be a welcome improvement.

It’s amazing to see the growth of pickleball players in Hawaii. So many people love diamond head court, from young kids to older kupunas.. Its amazing to see them playing pickleball, eventho the wait line for stack paddles could be so many stacks sometimes and try go there in the morning to proof it that so many people love this sport. Hopefully they put the permanent court soon because so many people love pickleball and that location will be perfect to attract tourists as well. Mahalo
