More than important to me, it’s important for the community of the fast growing pickleball world. Visitors from around the world come out to play at DH courts and have to suffer the experience on an old Tennis cracked up surface. DH Tennis center is with where Waikiki is located and tourists come out to play pickleball with us locals. It’s the face of Honolulu and should be upgraded to have a much higher level community for those who visit Hawaii as well.

The current surface gets very slippery even with a light drizzle. Resurfacing is needed and permanent nets would be a welcome improvement.

Have played at Diamond Head courts and have met visitors as well as locals. It serves as a nice place for visitors to meet kama'aina.

I was able learn to play pickleball at these courts, as well as many others in the community. These courts are highly utilized. Improving the courts by resurfacing the courts and adding permanent nets would serve the community well. I support this initiative

Hawaii is a perfect place to play year-round outdoor pickleball. I picked up my first paddle in Makiki, and the whole island could use more permanent courts.

It’s amazing to see the growth of pickleball players in Hawaii.
So many people love diamond head court, from young kids to older kupunas.. Its amazing to see them playing pickleball, eventho the wait line for stack paddles could be so many stacks sometimes and try go there in the morning to proof it that so many people love this sport. Hopefully they put the permanent court soon because so many people love pickleball and that location will be perfect to attract tourists as well. Mahalo

These courts are “home” to many picklers who come to play & have wonderful time - exercising, making new friends, and enjoying life. Courts need to be safe so no injuries…

I've visited the park and people there are super friendly welcoming!!!... the issue iare the courts. They need help and hopefully when I visit again would like to see some improvement.
