⏰It’s time…since 2016, the demands for more pickleball courts and permanent ones at Diamond Head has not let up. This prime location offers more than “just” pickleball because it’s so much more. It’s a welcoming place of community building and belonging among locals and tourists. These courts are iconic to Diamond Head. They should be rebuilt to support the mass appeal to the thousands of pickleball players who uses these courts.

More pickleball courts are needed at Diamond Head. I play there 3x a week and love the friendly ppl (both locals and tourists).

Courts need surfacing. They’re damaged and sometimes dangerous to play on because the traction is slowly declining. Would be awesome to have safer surfaces to play on along with permanent nets, and maybe even more courts if the space allows it.

DHTC 8&9 is always packed with Pickleball players while many of the tennis courts are empty. Since each man and woman should be treated equally, the Picklers should have approximately same access to recreational facilities as tennis players.

Growing nu.ber of people playing pickleball out numbering tennis. Everytime I've been to our matches, there are a number of empty tennis courts.
