Pickleball players at DH far outnumber tennis players. I highly recommend removing the fence between courts 8 and 9 and build 6 permanent pickleball courts with half fence around each court. On most days we have 9 paddles stacked with long waits between games while many of the tennis courts sit empty.

Because whenever we visit I love playing at these courts. Everyone is very welcoming. It we wait a long time to get on the few existing courts

Whenever I go to play pickleball, I notice that the courts are in poor condition and appear to need repairs. Having safe, well-maintained courts would improve the quality of play, boost the morale of everyone who uses them, and give us a place we can proudly invite others to enjoy.

These courts are a welcoming gathering place for locals and visitors. We were extended the Aloha spirit by all when we were there last year. Please refurbish the courts to keep thing on and to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

I've been visiting Diamond Head Pickleball yearly for over 5 years and just recently July 2026, the courts are at their very worst condition. So many cracks and gouges that make the ball bounce erratically. If it weren't for the friendly locals I've grown to know, I'd never play there again in those court conditions. I like the convenience location from the hotels and from my visits a lot of tourists visit Diamond Head Pickleball. I too hope for permanent court nets and resurfacing the courts.

Outdoor activity is so important in Hawaii to keep us healthy, fit and social. Please use our hard earned tax payer dollars to pay for this. We work hard for our money so we deserve nice places to play.

These courts are way over due for resurfacing and also used for pickleball far more than tennis. I’ve been a longtime tennis player but it’s very easy to see that PB is far more popular at this time and should be give New surfaces to play on ASAP.
