Multiple Reasons 1) North Salem St. cannot manage the additional traffic. 2) Run off from all the new streets, parking lots and driveways. 3) Loss of old growth trees and natural habitats

That area is already so congested. We don’t need more traffic in apex.

This project needs to be completely redesigned. Traffic on Salem Street is already horrible and this will make it much worse. It is also completely irresponsible for the developers to propose high density housing bordering upon single-family homes. That absolutely guarantees a huge amount of traffic going through Haddon Hall. Haddon Hall is a neighborhood not a thoroughfare connecting major roads. This development needs to change to a much lower density or have no road connections to Haddon Hal

If the proposed development was already in place we probably would not have chosen this beautiful quiet neighborhood with larger homes and yards. Our peace and the future value of our homes will have to be negatively impacted. The impact of this development has to be minimized. ALL of the above concerns are completely legitimate. “Cut through’s” should be gated for emergency vehicles only and our peace and privacy that we paid for, preserved. Every council member would want the same thing.

I am particularly concerned regarding the increase in traffic flow through our neighborhood. I don’t believe we can stop the development from happening, but we can do our best to protect our wonderful neighborhood of Haddon Hall if we stand together.

The high density plan that this rezoning will allow is not right for that area of Apex. The traffic on that section of North Salem is already extremely difficult at multiple times of the day due to development that wasn’t correctly planned for; there are currently runoff water issues in areas of Haddon Hall that will be exacerbated by high density growth on this piece of property; when Haddon Hall was built this property was expected to eventually be more of the same—single family hoUsing.

Infrastructure needs to be improved before more development comes to this area. Rain water issues, traffic issues are the biggest concerns

There is too much density being built in small areas. North Salem goes into a two lane road at this point; adding more traffic to this road is short-sighted.

Too many people...not enough water, doctors, parking and everything else to sustain Apex. MONEY ISN'T ENOUGH! We are running out of resources and space.

this will affect Haddon Hall and Apex with the traffic, lack of trees and water run off!

Our neighborhood is already impacted by school traffic and other Haddon Hall traffic. Adding more traffic will be problematic

We need to preserve as much green as we can. There have been way too many trees being taken down across Apex and our beautiful landscape is disappearing. The traffic is indeed already really bad between Haddon Hall, Peak Charter, downtown, and Thales.

We respectfully ask the Town to consider delaying approval of this development until North Salem Street has been widened or a traffic impact study confirms it can safely accommodate the added traffic.

We oppose approval of this development unless North Salem Street is expanded to handle the added traffic and address existing school-hour congestion and speeding safety concerns.

Peak Charter impact on Haddon Hall was downplayed. We were told there would be no impact. Now we can’t get off our street at certain times of day due to the constant flow of traffic. We cannot repeat that debacle.

The traffic impacts will be to much.

Traffic through the neighborhood is already bad with vehicles cutting through from the Charter school. Developers are not being realistic if they think no traffic will cut through.
