I do not consent to flock cameras in our town. I stand for freedom. allowing these cameras would set a precedent that I’m not willing to allow. Once data is relinquished, it cannot be returned. Those to whom this information is sent have not proven to be secure nor trustworthy.

As a resident of Damascus, I have never felt unsafe. This is due in no small part to the wonderful community here and respectful law enforcement. Adding surveillance cameras that can track my data and provide it to private interests makes me feel uncomfortable.
Let's build resilient community safety networks right here in Damascus, not outsource them to unregulated outside corporations!

I don’t want to be watched by a corporation that feeds our information into a national surveillance grid. I’m happy to see another officer around town before I see another faceless camera that breaches the privacy of our community.

As a frequent visitor to the Virginia Creeper Trail in Damascus, I am concerned about the Flock cameras that collect data and the corporations that control access to the information. Please keep Damascus friendly to tourists and protect our privacy!

Flock and all other ai based license plate reading surveillance systems are capturing more than just cars and criminals. They are collecting massive amounts of data on law abiding citizens and their daily movements. It is an affront to our community to provide this data to any private company let alone companies that lack regulatory oversight. We must keep our small town spirit alive by not allowing surveillance corporations to infiltrate our daily lives and collect data on the public.

Having grown up in this small quiet town I hate to see the cold, steel fingers of the panopticon reach into the heart of the beauty of the Appalachia. Keep flock out of our neighborhood, keep it out of existence period.

Its important to NOT support the very systems that are unconstitutional and go against human life the very natural laws and God given rights to have privacy and interactions between one person to another. Not some A.I. generated systems who make mistakes and assumptions do to how one person might look walking down a road or drive. You see its important that people wake up to these precursor signs of the beast system being put into place by Satan himself
