We live very close to the location and are very concerned that there hasn’t been enough research in the negative effects it would have on our village and environment. Also, we were never properly informed of the go ahead that the government has given the current purchasing agents of the former Remington Arms site as they have not been completely transparent to the residents. They have not taken any survey with the community to see who is for or against the project.

This data center will impact electrical and water services in the village which are already insufficient. The water is unsinkable. The cost of electric service is draining on all customers as it is.

There is zero benefit to the residents of the town. There will be only negative impacts on resources and health.

We must protect our small village from polluting our water, land. Our former and some current trustees allowed the herkimer IDA to vote this in while signing to give the owners millions in grants. We need a say into such a life impacting development. Protect our land, water, health and our home values

Ilion needs businesses that provide good paying jobs, not a data center that employ only a few. Also we need something for our kids. There is nothing here for them to do.

I do not want this in our town. It will not benefit us at all. It will not bring in jobs for our community!
