Because my grandfather worked his entire life at this factory and he was very proud to be apart of such a great company the Remington Arms holds a very strong importance to the people who worked there as it does to the residents. This company was born in ilion and should have stayed in ilion. And a data center is the last thing anyone wants to go in there I promise you that.

I’m a single father of three I’m already scraping by to pay for utilities and my rent what data centers like this the water prices will go up due to the data center sucking so much water which means my rent is gonna get raised with how much power it’s gonna take. The electricity won’t be as cheap which means my electricity is gonna get raised so all my bills are gonna get raised all because of a data center that I don’t need or want. How will I be able to afford to live and take care of my child

Creates noise pollution, uses unnecessary amounts of water. Senior citizen center is very close to where this could be

Because it's not safe or smart for downtown Ilion.

Because our community deserves a better option for future planning and there are a lot of invested people to ensure it happens!

I grew up in Ilion. Raised my kids in Ilion. My mom resides less than a mile away from Remington. I live just outside the village but get village electricity and water. I do not get to vote in the village elections. I feel this data center will be the demise for what is left of this once very thriving village.

We humans and animals can't live without water, nature can't withstand the horrible frequency

We do not need this in our little town. Nothing good will come of it.

A local moratorium and updating zoning and codes is the responsible action to take. Communities have been caught unaware and the local officials and attorney who were aware did not do their due diligence in representing the residents of Ilion.

I want to see business and jobs in the area that add to the community and give back to the community - Not something to hoover up our resources and spew out noise pollution, light pollution, poluted water and ground pollution, all while not even creating jobs. I also do not want to see the continued development of AI. Just because we can doesn't mean we should.

Because this will be the final nail in the coffin for the village of Ilion this is not going to create any jobs if this is going to lower property value among so many other things

Im very worried about the health and environmental impacts of a data center. I also am worried it will decrease our property value and we invested all of our savings into a house in Ilion

Keep our Mohawk Valkey beautiful and growing- It would stagnate Ilion with more problems and higher utilities, not to mention habitat destruction and the 24/7 noise! It does not benefit Ilion residents - No jobs or boost to the economy - it will ruin our Mohawk Valley beauty in so many ways……
