Many students are employed full-time and have work schedules that cannot easily accommodate in-person classes. The previous online format provided greater accessibility and allowed us to continue our professional commitments while pursuing our legal education.
I respectfully request that the decision be reconsidered or that an online or hybrid option be offered so that working students can continue their studies without facing unnecessary hardship.

As a student who studies online while working, requiring us to sit for exams in person is not very practical. Many of us chose online learning because it offers the flexibility needed to balance our work and studies. Introducing physical examinations defeats one of the main purposes of online education and creates unnecessary challenges for working students.

Will be difficult to attend exam since it will be difficult to get leave from work as many other students are even in the same class. Work place cannot accommodate leave for all those at once

The Bar Council's Section 7 mandate empowers it to regulate curriculum, course duration, and entry requirements (items 19–21) — matters going to the substantive content and structure of legal education. The mode of exam delivery (physical vs. online) is a distinct question: it concerns how an already-approved curriculum is administered, not what is taught or how long the course runs. That operational/administrative question — the delivery mechanism of assessment — falls within the regulatory com

Please consider reinstating online examinations. I live on an island and have a job, so traveling to Malé for exams is very difficult. Online exams would make education more accessible for students in situations like mine

I work in an island, and changing the modality to do the exams physically means I have to go to Male' to attend the exams. I have already used all my leave days. Which means I can not get any leave in this year. Plus most of my colleagues are law students and all of us can't attend the exam at once.
