I am writing to formally request a reconsideration of the requirement to attend the physical examination. Due to significant personal difficulties and constraints in attending the exam in person, I would appreciate it if an alternative arrangement could be made. I kindly request your assistance in facilitating this change
I signed this petition because I enrolled in this course expecting the exam to be online. Changing it to a physical exam places an unfair burden on students who live outside Malé. I support keeping the exam online as originally planned.

As a student living abroad, I enrolled in this programme because it offered both online classes and online examinations. Changing the examination requirements midway through the programme creates financial and practical difficulties, as travelling to the Maldives solely for examinations may not be possible. I request that students who enrolled under the previous arrangements be allowed to complete the programme under those same conditions.

Retroactively changing the exam policy mid course undermines the program we all agreed to and creates unfair burdens for students based in islands without campuses.
I am from the islands, so travelling to Malé for the exam means extra travel and accommodation costs. I also have a newborn baby, and travelling with a baby is difficult. It would be hard for me to fully focus on the exam because of these challenges. If I fail a module, I will have to travel to Malé again for the resit exam, which will result in additional expenses and further difficulties. I kindly ask you to consider my situation.

I am a student enrolled in the Shariah in Law programme at Avid College through the online mode. I chose this programme because the college assured us that both the classes and examinations would be conducted online.
I am the mother of five-year-old twins with special needs. It is impossible for me to travel to Malé and stay there to sit for examinations.
I understand and respect the MQA's decision regarding physical examinations for students who enr

Its not possible to go and sit on the physical exam and why we have applied and doing our law courses is because it was online ! And we have signed on like that ! So the new policies has to be applied for the new students who have joined after the policies were made and functioned !

I joined this programme because it was a fully online course. The change to a blended format is unexpected, and I am not prepared for it. My elder daughter will be sitting for her O'Level exams on the same days as my exams, and my younger children's exams will also be taking place during that period. Because of my family responsibilities, I chose this programme, which was fully online. I hope you can understand my situation.

Because as a bachelor of shariah and law student studying online i have worked hard while balancing my education and other responsibilities. Requiring physical examination at a short notice creates financial and practical barriers for most of us whom cannot really travel or get off from work. The main reason most of us signed up for this course is also because it's online and changing the requirement after one year of our course is unfair.

I don't think this situation is fair to us. We applied for an online course, not a physical one, and this is my last semester. Furthermore, it is not easy for us to travel to Malé just to take exams."

I am a second-year law student at Avid College. I enrolled knowing that exams would be online. Changing to physical exams midway is unfair to existing students, especially those with work and other responsibilities who may struggle to attend. Had I known this earlier, I may not have enrolled. I respectfully request that this change apply to new intakes instead, as they can enrol knowing the requirements beforehand.
