It's too wide ranging to include the Political wing of Hamas. Unnecessarily causes confusion.

Palestine must and will be free. The massacre and apartheid by an occupying force must stop. They have a right to exist and flourish. This includes representation.

I’m hoping that the new PM can factually look at the events of Palestine and Israel with a historic eye and understanding of the need for a party that stands for Palestinian rights in the Gaza Strip and now with the increased attacks on The West Bank farmers and homes, no free movement and no return for many Palestinians. Also to scrutinise any UK companies and to limit Israeli influence in uk politics, media and business.

As a ruling party which was elected by a majority by Palestinians, Hamas political branch shouldn't have been proscribed as a terrorist organisation. The people who voted for them wanted one thing for any parties; to be liberated of the yoke of occupation and Hamas was the party which wasn't going to be ordered around. They might not have known how much the Israelis wanted Palestinians out of the land. The exact thing they're wrongly accused of by the occupiers.

Freedom fighting and defending themselves against Israeli murderers and terrorists is not terrorism and the West is complicit in genocide

It is a sham that Britons do not have the rights to free speech or free association. Proscription of the Hamas political wing is wrong and unfair.

Oppressed and occupied people have, under international law, the right to armed resistance if democratic routes to liberation are not available. By shutting the door to a major political force in Palestine, proscription makes armed conflict inevitable. (c.f. Northern Ireland)

Proscribing does nothing to bring stability and security to the suffering people of Gaza. There must be conversation. There must be freedom of speech.
