I am proud to call Steve my friend. Everything written in the petition statement is true. He has been shuffled around detention centers, further and further from his home state, with no indication that his case is being addressed. Delay after delay. For over a year. This is all because he’s an upstanding man who “did the right thing” and is being punished for his integrity. His and his family’s suffering is immeasurable. He deserves better and I fully support this effort to bring him home.
