I am signing this petition in support of keeping this father with his family. While I do not personally know him, I believe children should not have to lose the presence and support of a loving parent. I hope he is given the opportunity to return home to his family.

My daughter is very good friends with Steve’s daughter, Ava. They have gone to school together and have played travel soccer together over the past 3 years. Steve was always a present father. He was always at the school functions and attended soccer gamea and practices. I did wonder why he wasn’t around that much this past summer, and it not only makes me angry, but breaks my heart that this is the reason why. Steve is an amazing man who has done right by his family and this country.
