We ask the Niskayuna youth football league to allow Coach Wimberly to be part of the 3/4 tackle football team’s final game so he can share that special moment with the children in a nearly undefeated season (2 more games to go!).
Coach Wimberly is a staple in the Niskayuna youth football community. The kids adore him, and he brings fun, excitement, and real football knowledge to every game he is part of. He helps make the experience meaningful not just for the players, but for the families and everyone in the crowd as well.
This final game is a big moment for the team. A undefeated season thus far, is something these children and their community will always remember, and it should be celebrated with the people who helped make the season so special. Coach Wimberly has clearly been an important part of that journey, and his presence would mean a great deal to the players.
We are simply asking for fairness, community spirit, and a chance for the children to finish their season with someone they know, respect, and enjoy being around. Please let Coach Wimberly return for the final 3/4 game and help make that day complete for our kids.

Coach Wimberly has been such a special part of the Niskayuna youth sports community, and the impact he has on these kids goes far beyond the game. He brings knowledge, energy, excitement, and a genuine love for the kids and the sport. At the end of the day, youth sports should be about the kids — the memories they make, the relationships they build, and the coaches who make them love showing up to play.
Coach W has been a huge part of the Nisky youth football program and experience as well as the community! Bring him back!
He brings joy and non-stop encouragement for our kids each and every Saturday.
We love Coach Wimberly! We need his energy back on the fields. The girls of cheer miss him!
