I don't play the game, but my best friend was looking forward to this character. However, if we let Infold and PaperGames cater to only a partial demographic of their audience and players enough to completely halt development of a large part of their game, it sets a precedence for other gaming companies to think they can get away with disregarding A) an enormous part of their audience and B) what their consumers want out of their games.

Valko’s cancellation truly breaks my heart. Even from the short trailer, he already felt like a character I wanted to know and support. I was looking forward to his story, his interactions, and everything that could have made him special. Please don’t let his story end before it even begins.

I want to encourage the devs and artists to keep creating future beautiful projects, starting by releasing this masterpiece of a character Valko and to not bend down to the backlash caused by loud hostile minorities. Because by canceling Valko, those bullies will kill the game and traumatize artists and game devs from creating future beautiful projects … (sighs) that‘s why we can’t have nice things anymore.
I wish to see Valko’s case become a symbol of hope for creative freedom amidst the storm.

For years I've been playing lads and neither of the 5 love interest really speaks to me until valko's trailer was released. I was so excited because he was definitely my type and I spent the whole week since his release grinding on lads for valko just for him to get cancelled. Naturally I was very upset, everyone was so excited for his launch and I wouldn't mind it his launch was delayed or fixed. Just don't delete him entirely, it's unfair to the fans and the workers 💔
