Lampeter needs a supermarket that will draw people into the town rather than have the people of Lampeter leaving the town to shop elsewhere.

Because we need a cheap supermarket in Lampeter the town is like a ghost town, bring this supermarket and see the people flood in to do their weekly shop at a reasonable price rather than everyone traveling to Aberystwyth and Carmarthen

Saves me the trip, time and expense of going to Carmarthen and will mean I will spend more money in other shops in Lampeter, lunch on shopping days and fuel for example

This is a huge opportunity for the town and surrounding villages, this area needs investment into shops and businesses.
Couple that with some cheaper or free parking and this town is booming!

We need a cheaper supermarket than coop and sainsburys and this would bring more jobs to the area.

Sainsbury's and COOP are too expensive to do a weekly shop at. Most families who can drive or take the bus go out of town to use Lidl, Aldi or Tesco elsewhere, taking money away from lampeter town. Those left that cannot travel are either elderly or disabled and are on benefits and very low incomes. These people cannot continue to afford the high prices of the current two supermarkets. They are not competitive, and these vulnerable people are being exploited and pe becaus of our rural location.

I would've preferred Aldi but we need a cheaper option for food shopping, I can't afford co op or Sainsbury's.
