I grew up with Hastings and it was a great and safe way for me to read and get introduced to new authors. With a Barnes and Noble in the Wenatchee valley, we can have such an amazing place for young adults and families to enjoy reading, and grab a coffee!

When hastings closed down, it left a hole in my heart. I need another store like that in wenatchee! We have a small used book store and maybe one other store to buy books. Not enough!

We need a more diverse selection of books in retail and B&N would be able to provide that.
Author events and signings.
Hopefully a place open past 6:00 or 7:00
Our library closed at 6:00 pm Fridays and 7:00 during the week, and very limited hours on weekends. Now, I adore our library, but yeah.
Barnes and Nobel will have consistent hours and one can hope will stay open until at least 9:00pm so people can buy a book and sit and read after work.
