I run Rev It Forward a bikers clothing bank to keep less fortunate bikers safe on the roads at no cost to themselves based in Littlehampton. I've run this out of my own pocket in my free time for j st over a year and now cover the whole central coastline of West Sussex with 4 donation drop off points. I am in the process of turning Rev It Forward into a CIC one stop community Hub to support riders and biker friendly business more from mental health, wellbeing, support following losing loved one' on the roads & road safety while reducing land fill in the process.
I have an idea for the world's first Bikers Memorial which will be not only a place of reflection and a place of hope to families knowing they are not alone in their grief but also offer a place for bikers struggling to get help and point them in the right direction with the help of charities who's contact details ill be engraved on the wood, hopefully bringing more awareness to road safety.
I need your help and support to get behind this project so I can show Littlehampton council how much this would mean to the UK biking community. If I get enough support for this I will start talks with Littlehampton council along with all the signatures to have a 50 slat permanent memorial bench on the memorial long bench on Littlehampton seafront at an in investment cost of around £10,000 which will be raised to make this happen. Here's to hope,
Joe, Rev It Forward.
Those of us who have lost loved ones in this way would benefit from such a memorial as a place for contemplation and holding on to their memories
