Kavanthissa is a great heritage of Sri Lanka, and also a life. If the wildlife department can't even save an animal, we don't need such a department in Sri Lanka. They should all be kicked out.
If there is a government, it should have a backbone and take a quick decision on this.
I am signing this petition to demand justice for Kavantisissa, Sri Lanka’s magnificent tusker, whose tragic death must never be forgotten. I strongly urge the authorities to investigate his death, hold those responsible accountable, strengthen wildlife protection laws, protect elephant habitats, and take immediate action to prevent further elephant deaths. Kavantisissa deserves justice, and his loss must lead to real change. No more innocent elephant lives should be lost due to negligence.

I strongly support this petition because I believe every animal deserves to be treated with kindness, love, and respect. Animals cannot speak for themselves, so it is our responsibility to protect them from cruelty and ensure their safety and well-being. I hope this petition will help create a better future for all animals

This is heartbreaking and deeply painful. Elephants are precious living beings who deserve to live in safety, freedom, and dignity. Their lives matter, and they deserve our protection and compassion. I sincerely hope justice will be served and that stronger measures will be taken to protect Sri Lanka’s elephants from harm. No elephant should have to suffer like this. 🐘💔
