We demand an independent and transparent investigation into his death. If negligence or improper medical treatment contributed to this tragedy, everyone responsible must be held accountable and face legal consequences. Justice for Kawanthissa!

The related authorities are working very recklessly in this situation. There is a video showing the main doctor saying he can't take any responsibility for their treatment of the tusker.

The current government is a despicable one that fails to recognize the value of a nation, a religion, natural resources, or animals. The Minister of Agriculture claims there are no legal impediments to killing an animal that enters one's property. He ought to be ashamed to continue holding his position. This wretched government has reduced the state to a base and ignoble entity.

This is a great loss for our country. Elephants are our national treasures. Sadly who ever is in charge and in power do not give any thoughts about the safety of them . Unbearable loss.

මෙය හුදෙක් සතෙකුගේ මරණයක් නෙවෙයි, පද්ධතියේ ඇති දුර්වලතාවයක්. මෙවැනි අවාසනාවන්ත සිදුවීම් වැළැක්වීමට ඉක්මන් හා ස්ථිරසාර විසඳුම් අවශ්‍යයි. එමෙන්ම, අදාළ ක්ෂේත්‍රය පිළිබඳ අත්දැකීම් බහුල, වගකීමෙන් කටයුතු කළ හැකි නිලධාරීන් පමණක් මෙවැනි සංවේදී තනතුරු සඳහා පත් කිරීම බලධාරීන්ගේ වගකීමක්. කතා කරන්න බැරි වුණත්, සතුන්ගේ ජීවිතත් මිනිස් ජීවිත වගේම එක හා සමාන වටිනා ජීවිත බව මතක තබා ගත යුතුයි!
