Kawanthissa’s life mattered, and his death must not be forgotten. 💔 No elephant deserves to suffer because of human cruelty. I am signing this petition to demand justice, a transparent investigation, and stronger protection for all wild elephants in Sri Lanka. They cannot speak for themselves, so we must raise our voices for them. May Kawanthissa’s death lead to meaningful change. 🐘🤍
It is regrettable that the necessary treatment for the elephant 'Kavantissa' was not provided promptly, and that the relevant authorities failed to take appropriate action—in other words, they were negligent.
