We lost Kawanthissa - one of Sri Lanka's tallest and most gentle tuskers. He did not die naturally, he died from a gunshot injury after suffering for weeks since Sept 24th.
This is murder.We demand a full, transparent investigation and justice for Kawanthissa. Justice for all the other tuskers like him who were killed by guns, hakka patas and Illegal electric fences.
