As I am currently living outside Sri Lanka, my friends often tell me that Sri Lanka is blessed with amazing wildlife, especially our beautiful elephants. 🐘❤️
One day, one of my Polish friends showed me pictures of Kawanthissa, and I explained how deeply we care about our wildlife and how heartbreaking it is when we fail to protect these innocent animals.
It makes me sad to think that our government and political parties have not done enough to protect our precious elephants. These beautiful c

As a Sri Lankan citizen living abroad, my love for my motherland and my mother tongue remains as strong as ever. 🇱🇰
The Sri Lankan elephant is not just an animal; it is a symbol of our national heritage, our natural beauty, and our identity. The reported death of Kavan Tissa is heartbreaking. And sadly, this is not the first time we have witnessed the loss of these magnificent creatures.
How many more elephants must die before meaningful action is taken?
This is unacceptable. Our elephants

do the right thing for Kawantissa and we have to do something for all of them.
Those responsible for kawathissa's incident must be held accountable. Take strict action against all wildlife officials involved, regardless of rank.

A nation that cannot protect its majestic elephants is losing a part of its soul. 💔🐘 These innocent giants deserve to live in peace, not suffer at the hands of humans. Justice must be served, and those responsible must be held accountable. Please protect our precious wildlife and ensure that such a tragedy never happens again.
Justice for Kawanthissa! 🐘💔 He deserved love, protection, and proper treatment, not suffering and a tragic end. No innocent life should be lost because of neglect or cruelty. We demand justice for this magnificent tusker and accountability for those responsible. May his death not be forgotten, and may no other tusker suffer the same fate. His life mattered, and his death deserves justice. 🕊️

⚖️🐘 JUSTICE FOR KAWANTHISSA!
An investigation must not end with a post-mortem report. We need the truth about who shot this magnificent tusker, the circumstances surrounding his death, and whether every possible step was taken to save his life.
We demand a transparent, independent investigation, public disclosure of the findings, and legal accountability wherever wrongdoing is proven.
Please do not allow this tragedy to be forgotten or buried in silence.
We Must Speak For Him.🐘💔🇱🇰
