May fair and rightful action be taken for His Majesty King Kavanthissa, the noble elephant. Justice must prevail, his dignity must be respected, and he must receive the compassion and fairness he deserves.

I strongly believe that Kawanthissa deserves justice. I urge the authorities to conduct an independent and transparent investigation into his death, including the medication and veterinary treatment he received and whether his physical and mental distress were properly addressed. If any negligence or wrongdoing is proven, those responsible must be held accountable. His life mattered, and we cannot allow this tragedy to go unanswered. Justice for Kawanthissa! 🐘💔

Minister and the doctor isuru should resign. They killed the most beautiful elephant in our heart.
Kawanthissa was more than just an elephant. He was a national treasure, a symbol of our wildlife heritage and a valuable asset to Sri Lanka’s tourism industry. It is heartbreaking to lose such a magnificent giant. We cannot simply accept his death without understanding what truly happened. Was it purely due to old age, physical weakness or were there were there other factors involved? I strongly call for an independent and impartial investigation into Kawanthissa’s death.

The failure to deliberately protect this elephant—a highly valuable resource of our country—resulting in its death.

The death of Kavanthissa was deeply unjust and unfair. We cannot let this happen to the remaining elephants. Therefore, I stand up against this injustice
