The big, innocent tusker Kawanthissa is not being properly cared for by the government ( president, minister and the veterinarian Isuru and others). It seems as though they are deliberately neglecting him and aiming to kill this innocent animal and the other elephants.

Kawanthissa was a living symbol of Sri Lanka's rich biodiversity, and his painful death breaks my heart. We cannot let his passing be in vain. I am signing because we need stricter laws against elephant poaching, immediate response systems for injured wildlife, and better resources for our veterinary teams.
