Elephants are not naturally found in every country. But in our country, elephants are a precious part of our natural heritage.

The country must not endure such losses in the future due to the failure of competent authorities and responsible officials to properly fulfill their duty to protect national resources; therefore, we demand that their legal accountability and official responsibility be strictly enforced.

I love elephants. I believe that, just like Kawantissa and Tusker, many elephants died even after receiving treatment. I also have doubts about what happened. To prevent such incidents from happening again in the future, a proper and thorough investigation must be carried out to establish the facts and ensure that the correct preventive measures are taken.
