Guru Piyario, We call for you help in our hour of need.
The committee members and the President of Guru Nanak Gurdwara Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK have passed a resolution (mataa no.6) on the 4th May 2014, that criminals who have been charged by the police for fighting in the Gurdwara darbar Sahib in front of Guru ji, and that these people be helped by the Gurdwara committee in their court cases.
The Sangat of the Guru Nanak Gurdwara are strongly in objection to this resolution. People who have been charged for knocking off dastaars (Sikh Turbans) of members of the Sangat, an extremely disgraceful and disrespectful ast,, should NOT receive ANY support from the Gurdwara committee or the Sangat. We demand that this resolution be withdrawn with immediate effect.
