Power Lines are very dangerous- especially low hanging lines. I've noticed all around Rexburg that the power lines are low hanging, and right through neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are the home to many children. I understand the need to have power in our homes, but overhead power lines are not the answer. In so many communities around the world, governments and city officials have taken the initiative to bury the power lines, cutting the risk of radiation. Radiation from these power lines causes delays in learning, and a harder time focusing. Who wants their children suffering these ill effects? If we can do something to help them, and ourselves.... why not try? I propose that we bury the existing overhead power lines in Rexburg, and for the future keep them buried.
