END‭ ‬TRAPPING ON PUBLIC LANDS Trapping on all types of public lands (state, National Forest, or BLM lands) in most states in the US is legal year round.   There are few or no bag limits, trap limits, or game units restrictions.  Every year, thousands of steel-jawed leghold traps (banned in more than 85 countries), body-crushing Conibear traps and throat-choking snares are legally set on public lands in the USA . Traps are not selective. Hundreds of pets, birds, endangered species and other non-target animals are injured or killed in traps. Trapping is cruel. Support the national movement to stop trapping on public lands throughout the US.
