Trapping is a horrific way to harvest an animal. I'm a US Marine who grew up hunting. I saw first hand at the horror of trapping. When you see a paw chewed off its something you never forget.
It’s sad finding a deer have dead in one of the traps. Traps should be banned! In this day and age, trapping is not necessary, plenty of meat in the stores.
There is no excuse for these cruel traps to be legal in Michigan. Please do whatever you can to make these cruel traps illegal and impose harsh penalties for their illegal use.
My neighbors dog almost got caught in one of these last week while we were hiking. It is scary to think these are hidden in the woods where families go. Ban them now!
TRAPING IS BARBARIC. No animal deserves to die like that. Need to get these off public lands in MI asap.
Please make this a worldwide law.

They need to be outlawed they are cruel traps there not needed any more the only people using them are cruel and have no respect or feelings for our wildlife and innocent animals that get caught in them...
